About me

What is fitsteps?

Fitsteps was created in 2013 by two of 'Strictly Come Dancing' Professionals, Ian Waite, and Natalie Lowe, alongside swimmer and Strictly, star Mark Foster. 


It is a mixture of Ballroom and Latin steps that create a fun, energetic, and effective way to stay fit with a dance workout. Classes are suited to everyone, no matter what age, gender, or previous experience and you don’t need a partner. 

Steps vary in intensity; therefore, the level of effort can be adjusted to suit the different levels of fitness. 

Fitsteps can help improve muscular strength, balance, posture and core strength and is a great way to improve stamina and toning of the body. 


This unique dance fitness is

 ‘so much fun you don’t even release you’re getting fit’!

Fitsteps is an energetic, upbeat dance fitness class featuring all of your favourite strictly dances.

Designed for people who love to dance with a dance workout, and want to keep fit, but for a variety of reasons prefers a lighter intensity, lower impact, and perhaps a slower pace.
